After having a few minor submission problems, misunderstandings among the rest of the fandom and some confusions about the folders and what not, I've decided to make a journal to help everyone out and hopefully clear a few things up.

I highly recommend new members or people submitting for the first time read this through

First off, there's still a large confusion for folders and what goes into where

Allow me to state which folders we have:

France
America
Canada
England
Russia
China
Prussia
Germany
Japan
Italy
Other Countries
Groups + Couples
Cosplay
Literature
MMD
Asks
Sketches + Doodles
Competition Entries
Anthropomorphic

The main folders, such as France, Japan, etc contain those Countries on their own or with their alternate counterpart . Female or Male
This means, that if you draw 2P France along with his 1P Counterpart, you are permitted to submit that deviation into the France folder.
However, if you draw an animal version or Mochi of 2P France, you are to submit to the Anthropomorphic folder.
Also, your submission must contain only that character (in this case France).

Both South and North Italy can be submitted to the Italy folder. It does not matter if they are together or single. If the submission only contains the Italy Brothers, you can submit it to the Italy folder.

Countries that are not listed in the folders (Eg; Belarus, Latvia, Brazil, etc) are to be submitted to the Other Country folders.
Again, if your submissions contain their alternates, you are allowed to submit it to the folder.
OC's are allowed, but please keep in mind that your OC needs to be a nation/micro-nation (Hetalia) and that you must have a colored reference of the 1P version to the OC in your gallery or linked in the description.

If your submission contains two different countries, then please submit to the Groups + Couples.

Any Cosplay pictures are to be submitted to the Cosplay folder. However, we do ask that you make sure the photo is clear and of a somewhat acceptable quality.
We understand that not everyone has the best camera's or webcams, but please just try your best, or find a way to make it less blurry for example.

Literature stories should have a description of at least one 2P character, genetic wise.
Meaning that you should either state the hair, eye or skin color and not just the clothes. This is to prevent Dark Hetalia or 1P's from being submitted.
2Ptalia is already often mistaken for Dark Hetalia when it obviously is not the same.
You can submit anything that is written here, a poem, a reader insert or just a normal story. However, keep in mind we still do not accept announcements.

All Asks are to be submitted to the Asks folder. It doesn't matter who is answering the question, if you're answering an ask via an ask account or whatever, you are to submit your submission here.
If you're submitting your ask ID, you can submit those to the original folders.

Sketches and or Doodles are to be submitted to the Sketches + Doodles folder. This can range from Lineart, to Works in Progress or sketch dumps and so on.
If you submit a black and white picture/lineart/sketch, please make sure that something genetic (Eye/hair/Skin) is colored.
This, just like the Literature helps us to prevent 1P or Dark Hetalia art from being submitted into the club.
We do not accept submissions on lined paper.

The Competition Entries folder will only be open during competitions. If you enter any of our competitions, no matter the medium, submit to this folder.
You are not allowed to submit entries for other clubs into this folder.

Anthropomorphic is a folder where you can submit all your Mochi/Neko/Dog/Pony -talia and so on.

Something you probably might have noticed me mentioning a lot is the importance of colors in the genetics.
This is basically what 2Ptalia focuses on. 2P's always have a change in color, hair/skin/eyes can either be lighter or darker shades or completely different colors.

2P is not simply changing the outfit or war uniform for if that was the case, it could as well be a 1P deciding to have a change of wardrobe.
This is also a minor problem with 2P Canada posts. It's a well known Headcanon that 2P Canada wears his hair in a ponytail, but that shouldn't just be it. If you're submitting a 2P Canada submission to the club, please make sure that the eye color is different from 1P Canada or that the hair is a darker/lighter shade or another color.

Lastly I'd just like to remind you all that we will not always tell you the reasoning behind us denying your submission.
So if you are unsure please read this through again or send us a club note, there's always someone online to answer your note.

We currently do not accept announcements. However, this may change in the future.

Other than that, our original rules still stand:

You may submit up to 8 deviations per week.

All Media is accepted, including Fanfiction and Cosplay.

No Flame wars, whatsoever.

Submissions must follow the DA rules. If you are unfamiliar with them, they can be found at help.deviantart.com/766/

Motivational posters are not allowed unless all of the images involved are made by you.

Images created from bases or "doll maker" games will not be accepted.

We do NOT accept announcements/journals. If you wish to make a big announcement please contact one of the Administrators of the group and we will discuss it.

Sketches and doodles are accepted, however they cannot be on lined paper.
